The department of Mathematics, started in 1998, has the credit of successful degree holders with flying colors. The prime focus of the department is to provide a conceptual base in Mathematics which helps the students continue their studies. Mathematics being a multidisciplinary subject, the Department of Mathematics also works in various departments like Commerce, Management, Bioinformatics, Computer Application etc.,

The Department aims to develop students with visionary and analytical mind set inorder to deal with real life practical problems and to be responsible citizens.

Mission

The department arranges various activities to inculcate interest towards the subject. It also guides the students for the preparation of Various Academic and Professional Competitive exams by conducting various certificate courses, workshops, problem solving contests frequently.
