Department of Microbiology, Christ College, Rajkot was established in 1999. The department gives students practical exposure to the subject by arranging industrial tours and training programs at various laboratories and manufacturing plants. The self-learning of the students is supported through various activities including class seminars and minor research projects. It conducts many co-curricular programs that help the student to acquire skills and increase their understanding on the subject. The department conducts an awareness program regarding various aspects to aware of the students about social and medical issues prevailing in society.
Christ College has been a place of memories as I spent my five years for my higher education. Department of Microbiology is a place where I was nurtured by my teachers who guided me at my right path. Highly qualified faculty members shared with us plethora of their knowledge to make our future bright. I am indebted to my faculty members and my alma mater – Christ.
