Poster Presentation Competition

A Poster Presentation Competition was organised by Creative Zone on 17th September 2025 in honour of Jane Austen. The event was open to all students and held in the collage corridors.

 

Participants presented posters on themes related to gender and Jane Austen, shpwcasing creativity and presentation skills. The competition was judged by Ms. Rutvi Shah and Mr. Chetan Pathak. 12 students are participated in this competition.

MELANGE 

Melange, the B.A. Department's talent show, was held on 29th August 2025 at Christ Collage, organised by Creative Zone. The event aimed to  promote cretivity and provide  a platform for students to showcase  their talents, with participation from both B.A. and M.A. students.

 

The programme began with a welcome of the dignitaries and aprayer song by Sr. Alma. Judged by Mr. Mr. Nimit Ganatra and Mr. Jagrut Tripathi, the event included categories such as singing, dancing, reel making, and a fashion and personality contest. The performances and enthusiastic  participation made the event lively and engaging.

 

Rev. Dr. Fr. Jomon Thommana and the judgees appreciated the participants before announcing the results. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by the President, Ms. Samiksha Vaidya.

 

Literary Triumvirate

Creative Zone organised a three-day literary event, Literary Triumvirate, from 24th to 26th February 2026, featuring five competitions : Punchline and Blackout  Poetry (Day 1), Coverscapes and JAM (Day 2), and Brain Brawl (Day 3).

 

On Day 1, Punchline (7 participants), judged by Mr. Robin Thomas,involved writing punchlineson given themes. Blackout Poetry (15  participants), judged by Dr. Tisha Roy, required creating poems from newspaper text.

 ON Day 2, as a part of Literary Triumvirate (24th-26thFebruary 2026), Day 2 featured two competitions : Coverscape and JAM

 

Coverscape involved designing an imaginative book cover based on given themes. Open to all departments, it had 8 participants and was judged by Ms. Rhymol Sahoo and Ms. Jayati Purohit.

3rd : Priyansh Sharma / Ujas Mankad

 

JAM (Just A Minute) was asponteneous speaking compettion moderated by Ms. Rutvi Shah, with multiple rounds testing fluency and accuracy. It was judged by Ms. Tanvi Pandya and Dr. Gaurav Vora, and witnessed by Rev. Fr. Dr. Jomon Thomanna and Dr. Yvonne Fernandes.

 On Day 3, as a part of  Literary Triumvirate (24th-26th February 2026) , Brain Brawl was conducted. It was a multi-round competition open to all departments. The event was hostedby Ujas Mankad and Srushti Hindocha.
