RESEARCH AND EXTENSION CELL

3.1 Aim: The objective of a research and extension cell is to promote and facilitate research and outreach activities among the faculty and students. This includes:

• Encouraging research culture among faculty and students by providing necessary resources and support.
• Organizing seminars, conferences, workshops, and other events to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and ideas.
• Collaborating with industry and other institutions to promote research and development.
• Conducting outreach activities to promote the application of research findings for the betterment of society.
• Creating a culture of research and innovation among students and faculty.
• Promoting the dissemination of research findings through publications, presentations, and other means.

Overall, the goal is to foster a spirit of research and innovation in the academic community and to promote the application of knowledge for the benefit of society.
From the year 2016 to till date more than 40 research/review articles have been published by the faculty members in Peer Reviewed/UGC approved ISSN Journals.

It has also aimed to provide extension services to the institutions outside the campus. The R& E Cell has accomplished several Student Development Programmes and Faculty Development programmes under the banner of its flagship programmes called Imprints and Satvasarga.

4. Major Milestones: In both the programmes students were involved. The colleges and schools situated at Rajkot, Jamnagar, Porbunder, Kutch, Kalawad cities were covered under these programmes.
