SPORTS CLUB INAUGURATION 2026-27

The Sports Club of Christ College inaugurated its activities for the academic year 2026–27 with an Investiture Ceremony. The programme began with a graceful prayer dance, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries,  Rev. Fr. Dr. Jomon Thommana, Director of Christ Campus,  Rev. Fr. Jason, Assistance Director of Christ Campus, Dr. Yvonne Fernandes, Principal of Christ College; Dr. Shailendrasinh Jadeja, Coordinator of Sports Club, Dr. Hunny Chauhan, Animator of Sports Club and Mr Hillary Dias, Animator of Sports Club and the faculty members and students. A journey video showcased the club's achievements and sporting legacy. The newly appointed office bearers and game in-charges were officially announced and felicitated with badges.

 

They also took an oath pledging their dedication to the club  The President, Mr. Jagratsinh Rathod addressed the gathering with an inspiring vision for the year ahead. Vibrant Western and Classical dance performances added cultural charm to the celebration. The Principal Dr. Yvonne Fernandes gave motivating speech that encouraged students to pursue excellence in sports. The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by the Vice President  Mr. Abhayjeetsinh Jadeja and a group photograph, marking the beginning of a promising sporting journey.
