Poster Presentation on the 250th Birth Anniversary of Jane Austen

The Arts Departmental Club – Creative Zone of Christ College Rajkot organized a College-Level Poster Presentation Competition in commemoration of the 250th Birth Anniversary of the legendary English novelist, Jane Austen.

The event served as a creative platform for students from various departments to showcase their artistic creativity and presentation skills inspired by the timeless works of Jane Austen.

The event was graced by Rev. Fr. Dr. Jomon Thommana, Dr. Yvonne Fernandes, and Rev. Fr. Stanley Joseph as esteemed guests. The judging panel included Ms. Rutvi Shah (Department of English) and Mr. Chetan Pathak (Christ Institute of Management), who evaluated the entries based on creativity, presentation, and thematic relevance.

Winners:
1st Prize: Parth Joshi
2nd Prize: Nancy Vekariya & Dhruvi Patodiya, Catherine Nissi & Muskan Mondal
3rd Prize: Meetrajsinh Zala & Sonal Panchal

The event not only honoured Jane Austen’s literary legacy but also encouraged students to explore the beauty of creative interpretation. It stood as a testament to Christ College Rajkot’s commitment to nurturing intellectual curiosity, artistic expression, and literary appreciation.
