Sapling distribution and Tree plantation is one of the Nobel activity organized by Nature Club, Christ College Rajkot every year, to contribute as duty to conserve environment. Nature Club is organizing tree plantation with the aim to inspire the students for tree plantation, its conservation, and importance of global warming and create awareness about nature.
Collage Making Competition
Collage is a technique of an art production, primarily used in the visual arts, where the artwork is made from an assemblage of different forms, thus creating a new whole. A Collage may include magazine and newspaper clippings, ribbons, paint, bits of colored or handmade papers, portions of other artwork or texts, photographs and other found objects glued to a piece of paper.
Nature club is organizing collage making competition every year to make students aware about natural resources, wild life conservation, and create awareness about nature.

International vulture day celebration
International vulture awareness day was celebrated to create awareness about one of the most ecologically important scavenger and its conservation by Nature Club on 1st September, 2020. An Expert talk on "Vanishing Vulture" by renowned Wildlife Photographer and Conservationist Mr. Bhushan Pandya was given on the occasion.
International climate action day
International climate action day is celebrated by nature club on 25th September 2020 through a drawing completion to encourage students to think about what the world means to them and how they can show their appreciation by protecting and preserving the environment, through a willingness to change destructive habits. The theme of the drawing competition was PAINT TO SAVE. Total 27 students with different steams such as BSC, BBA, BCom, Bioinformatics and BA had participated without any subject barrier.
Nature (Wildlife) Photography Competition
Nature photography is a broad range of photography taken outdoors and devoted to displaying natural elements such as landscapes, wildlife, plants, and close-ups of natural scenes and textures. Nature photography tends to put a stronger accent on the aesthetic worth of the photo than other photography genres, such as photojournalism and documentary photography. Nature club is organizing nature Photography Competition every year. All the students of different stream can participate in this event.
Slogan writing competition & Essay writing competition
As a part of Climate Change Youth Outreach Fortnight Programme of Government of Gujarat, and Nature Club Christ College, Rajkot organized Slogan and Essay Writing Competition on the theme Climate Change. This programme running to aware the student about the climate change, its adverse effects. The participation of students for this programme was excellent.
Nature education camp Visit to Narara Marine National park, Poshitra
Nature Education trip involves exploring the beauty of nature along with marine life. Long tracks into sandy muddy shore, intertidal marine edges, climbing the hills, crossing the island, exploring the nearby islands in boat, observe the marine animals behavior, listning of coastal birds calls, studding animals prink mark and to predicts animal on that basis, identify and observing marine animals like octopus, starfish, sea Cucumber etc… So, Nature Club Christ College Rajkot, Every year organises such type of event by which students can learn some new things about nature and its behavior.
World wild life day
World Wild life day every year celebrated on 3rd March to raise awareness about the extraordinary diversity of marine life and the crucial importance of marine species to sustainable development. Nature club was invited to participate for World Wild life day celebration organized by Gir National Park and Sanctuary Sasan gir. One day seminar was organized followed by visit of Devadiya Safari park. Head, Department of marine Science Dr. Indra Gadhvi had delivered an expert talk on Marine Ecosystem and its ecological services.
Snake Awareness Programme
Distant from salvage, snake awareness programme play a vital role in bringing down the rate of snakebite and humanity. Snake awareness becomes important in order to clear the tradition that circulate about snakes; it also helps in sympathetic how snakes are important for the ecosystem. Moreover, it also helps us in ahead knowledge about the precautions that need to be taken when we encounter snakes. Snake awareness programme also give us information on the primary measures that need to be taken at the time of snake bite.
